Our Network

SiteCenter operates from a secure suite in the a data centre located in Maidenhead, Berkshire. We also have a number of facilities in London Docklands.

SiteCenter use a Cisco and Extreme Networks powered, carrier class, 20Gbit network with pan-European peering and transit from providers like of Level(3) and Tiscali which ensures your server is always connected to the internet via routes with the lowest possible latency.

Network Presence

Our PoP's (Points of Presence) are connected via a fibre optic metro ring based in London Docklands, with routing equipment located in each data centre, thus we are never reliant upon any single data centre for our connectivity should power fail at any particular facility for any reason.

Network Hardware Explained

All of our network hardware is backed up by redundant equipment, with dual power supplies and feeds, dual management interfaces and processors along with dual line cards for no single independent point of failure. We also lease diverse redundant capacity from our London Docklands hub our data centre, giving us a total current capacity of nearly 20 Gbits per second one of the highest line rates in the industry.
